[Massplanners] Job posting - Worcester Planning Analyst

Good morning and Happy New Year, Mass Planners!

Planning and Regulatory Services, a Division of the Executive Office of Economic Development, seeks applicants for the position of Planning Analyst. This position supports a variety of planning activities involving subjects such as land use, zoning, development review, urban design, and comprehensive planning. This position provides professional and technical assistance to various boards and commissions, including the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals. Attendance at evening meetings (typically 2 meetings per month) is required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in city or regional planning, civil engineering, geography, architecture, landscape architecture, or other related discipline.
* Two (2) years of experience applying planning principles and techniques in a professional setting.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Master's degree in city or regional planning, civil engineering, geography, architecture, landscape architecture, or other related discipline (May be substituted for two (2) years of required experience).
* Prior customer service experience (working with the public).

SALARY: $53,096 - $60,276 annually, full-time, with an excellent benefits package.
